When we think of pottery, we often have the image of a coffee mug or a round bowl in our minds. Beyond the Wheel was a display of my works in which the wheel is only a starting point for the vessel. An array of glaze techniques, thrown and altered as well as hand built works demonstrate that while the wheel may be the most important invention in pottery it does not define the art of clay.

My First solo Show
Beyond the Wheel was my first solo pottery show and ran for February and March, 2017, at the Leigh Square Art Village at 2253 Leigh Square, Port Coquitlam and occupied both the Michael Wright Gallery and the Outlet building.

Artist in Residence
I was delighted to participate in my third term as the Artist in Residence at Leigh Square Artist Village last winter. It was an amazing experience.
